I absolutely agree. Today I believe telling my children to do what they feel called to do is the right choice for my Gloriatee‘s The reds liverpool coach C1 champion Abbey road shirt, and I want them to have everything I have and more. Just like I KNOW that the advice my parents gave me was what they truly believed was the best route for me at that time. We’re all in this together and trying to help our kids find the right path. I think it just rubs me the wrong way when people say things like young people these days. But then don’t want to take any responsibility for helping to shape those young people into have the beliefs or customs that they’re disappointed with. It’s fine to make mistakes.

We all do it. And I have no resentment towards my parents, teachers, or anyone else who guided me towards college regardless of whether or not it was right for me. But to imply that young people came up with these ideas all on their own is unrealistic and unfair. Very good point.it’s a cultural phenomenon kids are responding to, not them inventing it. We have to teach them better and change the culture around these choices. I think people just like to complain on here and act all superior, whatever their personal prejudice is.

I worked at a local community, trade school, and always asked my students what THEY wanted before they invested too much time in my class. College is great for some, trade for some, university for some. Everyone is an individual and should be respected for their choices and what makes them happy. My husband did a five, year apprenticeship too for carpentry. He said it was the best decision he ever made. Now he has his own successful business and our days of living paycheck to paycheck are long gone.  That’s what i’ve always said, as well.

If what you want to do demands a college education, then that’s thing to do. To just go to college for college’s sake makes zero sense to me. And I have a post doctorate degree. I feel the same way. I have a phd and I am a professor, I love what I do. And I believe that this is one of many different paths to successful and fulfilling life if you can get to doing Gloriatee life style t-shirts‘s The reds liverpool coach C1 champion Abbey road shirt, you love and what financially and emotionally supports you without a decade of education, why would you not choose that path.

For example,  I used to work in the HVAC industry in marketing. I learned so much about the trades and how much opportunities exists for young people. I’m of a generation that is always told to go to college.  For myself, i know it was the right choice, but we need people in the trades. They can make great money, raise families on that career and do amazingly well. We need to value the trades. This is not always true, I knew I wanted to be a physicist since i’ve been 12. Of course I had to go to college for that, then get my Master degree and now I’m heading to my phd degree.
