Kelly Walsh Lewellyn Your comment made me dig deeper into the truth and what really happened during the time of my life. My Gloriatee’s Survivor breast cancer heart ribbon t-shirt did hurt me growing up-I had no idea what her life had been like. So much betrayal and sadness-how strong she had to be-she was Jewish and converted to Catholicism to marry my Irish father. She was scorned growing up and further scorned by my father’s relatives. And all the time she was this beautiful wildflower.

As a child she, and her pit bull Jack, would go skinny dipping in the lakes around her Survivor breast cancer awareness shirt home, and told me she and Jack would sink into the lake embankments and she turned dark as a coffee bean drying in the sun. At fifteen she had to return from waitressing in New York City to buy chloroform from a chemist and put Jack to sleep, alone, her best friend. Her mother got word to her Jack was sick and she could not bare to have him suffer. A short time later she caught double pneumonia and the soles of her hands and feet peeled off from a very high fever. I thought It was a nice t-shirts for men, back in the day. I’m told I fit that description. But what really pisses me off is that t-shirts for women knows I’ma nicest, and keeps showing me these t-shirts for girls.

A rich cousin in New York, because my mother’s eldest sister christmas longsleeve begged him, paid for a private hospital room. Strong, iron-willed Annie fought and lived, but just barely pulled out of it. She was made of steel and wild lavender flowers. So much beauty, strength and independence that I finally saw and understood before she flew away. There is a lot of healthy self-love involved in honoring your parents and making sure they leave this world knowing they are loved and respected.

What a compassionate man. It’s unfortunate they can’t pay people like you what you are worth your caring and consideration of the elderly you care for is priceless. EDITED it’s unfortunate they DON’T pay you what you are worth. Apparently it’s the same everywhere. The people who care for the elderly and the children are working under hard conditions for a much too low salary. I hope it will change one day, and we will start to value those who care for others for a living.
